In anticipation of the 75th birthday of the Haitian-American Institute, President Convery cooked up a very large cake and had it painted on a nice blank campus wall. If you look closely, the “I” logo, usually dotted with a red, sunlit ball, has turned into candles with faux flames burning brightly. A creative fait accompli, thanks to the talented painters. Bon Anniversaire to the HAI, and Mrs. Convery, we might add!
